A lot of water spots and obverse field distractions.

MS65RD nick on the nose bothers me otherwise 66, all PCGS graded? I personally don't think plating bubbles should no effect grading a coin since it is more of a adhesion issue and the coin was minted that way (my own opinion).

Technically? They probably gave it a 67 maybe even a 68.

Thank you Everyone for playing. Peetspockets55 had the best guess. He was spot on a couple of them. All the Coins are Graded PCGS MS66 Cheerios Cents. I think maybe two of them deserve that grade. The other two with the bubbling in the fields, I don't think they deserve a MS66. I have my thoughts on these grading companies and would love to share them. This is not the correct forum though. Again thanks for playing. Any additional thoughts or comments would be great.

Quote: apparently they dont deduct a whole lot for the spots. Yes they do depending on the year submitted. PCGS is all over the place with memorial cents from 65-68, generally keeping the 67 & 68 numbers down intentionally.

Quote: PCGS is all over the place with memorial cents from 65-68 65-68 are completely different animals than the zincs. if they take into consideration the spots then I cant explain the grade on this one

From what I understand, the milk spots will affect the eye appeal portion of the grade but not the strike portion.
The eye appeal has less impact on the grade than the actual strike.
