Has anyone heard of a release date for the 2023 Libertads?

Libertads always seem to get released late in the year. I don't know of an exact release date from Casa de Moneda, but I know one US dealer thet had an expected ship date of mid October.

APMEX only has the 1 kilo silver 2023 in stock. Too expensive for me, I'm waiting for the 1 oz silver I assume release late summer or Fall.

The internet lists October 15 as the arrival date of the 2023 1 oz Silver Libertad. I ordered six coins each from two different sellers and the first six arrived today.

Quote: Which seller already shipped? That was quick! It is an ebay seller called nocommoncents-ri. I had preordered six coins from a different seller but this seller said the coins were in hand and ready to ship so I placed the order.

My first order was a presale and won't ship until early October. As of last night nocommoncents-ri still has 2023 Libertads available for immediate shipping.

These contemporary Libertads are beautiful. They remind me of the US Liberty coins from yesteryear. I want one.

The early Libertads from the 1980s have a different design and finish. They have more shine and reflection than later satin finish libertads, have a cartwheel look like MS Morgan dollars. The proofs are pretty too. Most years have low mintage so they cost more.

Got my example, very nice feilds for a bullion coin. Sharp finning shows on outer rim from about 12 - 4 leaving an area for bangs and dings and brother it got 4 nice dings between the minting and my receipt in mail. Still very pleased with this coin for the price. Hope they keep cranking these out in numbers high enough to keep premiums competitive with other countries bullion coins.
