Hello all. Here I have a 1982 Lincoln Penny. While observing it under magnification, I noticed what looks like possible doubling. It's only on the reverse of the coin, noticeable on most of the letting and the memorial. I'm familiar with the common doubled-die error. However, I've never seen it look quite like this (if it is in fact a DDR). Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry, this is Machine Doubling, not a DDR. Machine Doubling reduces the letters, while a genuine Doubled Die enlarges them in size. I would keep it for educational and future references. See my detailed Machine Doubling tutorial for more information. http://goccf.com/t/332421

Good eye to notice this @sher, but yes it is Machine Doubling.
