I cannot find with a search anyone every questioning a nickel from 1976 nickel with no reverse. Found one today. Think it's worth anything?   |

It's not an error. The reverse was used to make a Magician's coin. Click on the blue highlighted link for more information. Errers and Varietys.

Watched video but what makes it so you can tell it's an actual Magicians coin and not a blank? Is that because the rim? |

The high rim on the back. Also the concentric lathe lines where the blade cut away the metal.

in general, any anomaly a person can recreate on a coin by use of a few tools is going to be considered damage

It also cannot be a blank, by weighing it you will see it is a lot less weight than a blank would be. John1  ( I'm no pro, it's just my humble opinion )

Sunny, there is no way that a coin can only have one side. There has to be 2 dies to come together to make the coin. There might be something that gets in between the planchet and the die. But there will be something that bleeds through on the coin from that die.
