I can see a doubling in the earlobe and another separate mint mark

So that's promising that neither of you dismissed it out of hand. Is there a point where I should get it graded or put it on ebay before it rolls off underneath the furniture never to be seen again?

Not dismissed out of hand, but we can't see enough to know one way or the other. You'd have to check eBay prices realized for comps but I don't think these are typically valuable enough to be slabbed.

I see what you're thinking is another mint mark - the light patch next to the D. Undoubtedly just Pareidolia.
