Would anyone share their knowledge of these? I have seven examples and one die pair. The tokens were sold by the Catholic Church to raise money for their "revolution." The sometimes loops were cut off and the 20 centavos circulated freely (at least in Jalisco).

Who made these tokens/coins? Where were they made? How many? Any ideas as to mintage and survival rate?

Feel like I've seen these b4?

But how would they have been accepted as a 20c when that was still a decent piece of silver... except in a very narrowly defined area?
