Not sure, my best guess is a slug for testing vending machines. What is the diameter and weight?

Sorry for the delay - had to locate my scale (I cleaned my office recently ). The diameter is 19.61mm and the weight is 3.59g.

What would that be? It's not a penny or a nickel (it's between) so could it be Canadian?

But their coins are the same size... what else could be plated, then?

A Brit penny? No... that's 3.56g/ 20.32 mm...

May we ask where you found it?

In a 5-pounder of world coins. Helps a lot, doesn't it?
