Hello,
I have 2 quarters with what appear to be extra hair behind Washington's ear. The 2 styles are different. Of course, they could just be die chips.

This one, I researched and found a person had written the forum in 2021 about a 2020-P Salt River Bay Quarter which had a similar anomaly behind the ear. There was a question if it was a double ear.

Anyway, I couldn't find anything related in Wexler's or Variety Vista, unless I overlooked something.

Thank you for any advise and/or opinions.

In the first closeup (with the arrow), I see raised areas at the bottom of the ear and at the "v" of the jaw and neck as well. Yet I don't see how they line up on the reverse.

Here's a Clash Overlay for the coin.

I just thought of something.

@Sammyluv Could you check that the alignment is correct on the coin and has no rotation of the dies? I did the overlay assuming that the piece has normal 'Coin Alignment.'

Thank you for all the replies.

Yokozuna, I see no rotation of the dies. I thought if I posted the coin, maybe someone else out there might find another one.

Thank you for taking the time to do the overlay.
