Judging from your pics, this isn't a 1971 DDO-001.
The DDO-001 for 1971 has a significant spread in "LIB" of liberty and the date. None of which are present on the devices on your coin.

Maybe reflection doubling.
If OP would filter their light it would eliminate that I would think.

Well you do see where every reflection off of the device shows a refection on the field.! Sometimes people try to want to see doubling too much under magnification - or try to fool us wise old dudes -

wow these images are just horrible. when taking close ups, it is imperative that the camera is absolutely 100% perfectly still.
