Need help determining whether this is small date or large. I'm guessing small? In comparison to photos found online.

I agree, better pics would help... If forced to guess based on your posted pic, I would say probably small date zinc.

What does it weigh?

I agree with John1, small date but it's a copper plated zinc coin, not the copper that has major worth. Keep looking, there may be another out there.
