Hello,
Please help identify the type of a Clodius Albinus denarius. There is almost no information available online. All I could find is that only two specimens with this reverse type are officially known—one in the Vienna Museum and another that was sold at auction. The catalog lists a similar reverse under RIC 28, but this one is not included.
Here are the details of my coin:
Obverse: IMP CAES D CLO - ALBIN AVG, laureate head right
Reverse: MARTI AVG COS II
Additional notes: weight 2,26g
I would appreciate any additional information. Perhaps someone here might have more information than I have found.
