Hello,
I am curious to find out if this "VERY SHINY" Lincoln Cent is a proof coin?

Can't tell for sure from these photos, but the added weight points to a plated coin.
It is a D Denver mint mark so definitely not a proof.

No, Not a proof coin, Denver has yet to produce any of those.
The lighting is causing a huge glare right on top of your coin and that makes it difficult to determine what is going on.

Not a Proof. If it was, it wouldn't be from Denver. It would be from the San Francisco mint.

It has been plated which accounts for the extra weight.
Has no numismatic value as a novelty coin.

Yes, I'm thinking the coin has been plated.

Plating sounds feasible for the extra weight.
