Mint Error 2000 Lincoln Cent Struck on 2000 VA 25c PCGS MS65.
A little Mint Employee "assist" on this one? How would a Quarter get into the minting chamber of a press set up for Lincoln cents?

The only thing that could make it better is a ( WAM). On a different note would that not trash the collar.

I shake my head at these assisted errors.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

16609, to me, it doesn't look like the collar was involved.

Is this the time period where they were smuggling out the "assisted errors" in the oil pan of the forklift?

@Petespockets55, I believe the Forklift Oil Pan, Proof Error smuggling took place in the 70's.
