It has been years since I have posted anything in this forum. It has been so long that my email changed and I forgot my password. I just reregistered today since I need some help from fellow collectors. I specialize in collecting ephemera and exonumia related to the Columbian Exposition half dollar and the Isabella Quarter. If you have similar interests, I would love to connect.
I am working on an educational exhibit/display on the $1,000,000 Dollar Display at the 1962 World's Fair. After the close of the fair, bags of silver dollars were sold for $1500 each and individual silver dollars were sold for $1.95 each. I am looking for copies of the September and November 1962 issues of "Coins" magazine that contain an article on the display and an ad regarding the sale of the coins. I have an example of one of the silver dollars in its original holder with a white background in my collection. I am looking for a similar holder with a black background. I saw a photo of one in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
