Yes, the precious metals market has driven the Mint's pricing model to new heights! I wouldn't be surprised to learn of collectors who have been priced out of continuing their collection (at least not without making cuts elsewhere!).

There are some interesting offerings.
I also received an email notification from the RCM this morning, which is interesting since I've never purchased anything from them, nor created an account with them. Maybe the US Mint is sharing their database.

Believe it or not, the Mint dropped some prices this month. The "2026 Treasured Silver Maple Leafs" were listed at $239.96 last month. They're now listed at $189.95

I like the FIFA World Cup 1oz silver coin, but at $290 I don't plan to buy.

At over twice bullion value, my NCLT purchases are going to be very few and far between. I settled for a couple of the 50th Anniversary Winnipeg sets.

Truer words .....

Two Collector's Edition Non-Circulation Coin Set - 50th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint - Winnipeg
One more Classic Uncirculated Coin Set (2026) to be distributed in my various albums.

Total of $98.14 CAD for this month, I hope. ...
(edit) Perhaps some more Silver Maple Leafs as the spot price is dropping, at the moment.

I somewhat reluctantly bit on the $300 Pysanka coin, apparently it arrived in today's post so will get a look at it later this evening.

I saw these at end of Dec 2025 in Canada Post for CAD 99 with immediate sellout, and later in the beginning of Feb 2026 for CAD 139.
