I imagine that they opened up a bunch of mint sets to fill this display which would explain the appearance of the coins.
6.6 ounces ASW is about €345.

So 700 euros for the complete set is about $1137 Canadian , I don't know what the going rate for these sets is but it's over my budget, very nice looking sets.

$1137 is the current melt value for these sets, a reasonable purchase price regardless of condition.
PS: You have no idea what whizzing is, polishing and whizzing are two different things.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

I think the OP said the price they are asking for this display of coins is 700 Euros 700 Euros = 800 American Dollars 800 American Dollars = 1137 Canadian Dollars. So what is it, the price for these coins of the Melt value?  |

Thanks for your input everyone, I went ahead and bought it. You can't go wrong.
It wasn't 7.7oz of silver, it was 14.3oz as there's 13 years in this set.
14.3oz ASW for 650+100 euro shipping is not bad and right at about spot price. Especially when you consider 1955-1959 on their own usually command premiums of $100+ over spot!
