My daughter bought a box of coins from a neighborhood kid and she gave them to me as a gift 23 years ago. I had assumed this coin had been run over by a train but I've held on to it. Then I recently came across a picture of a flattened coin that had been run over by a train. I was hoping maybe someone could tell if this is a mint error or maybe something else caused the lines?

Not an error, impossible for that to happen when the coin was struck so that means it is PMD.
