Thanks...I am grateful that I didn't get hosed.
As I have said before, I am new at this. I joined here on July 9th (has it been a month already?)
A few days before that I had only just found the collection from Grandpa
The opinions here are valued.
As of right now, I carry around a few books to do some research on the go if need be, but most deals are made spur of the moment.
Not a good thing sometimes. (knowing enough to be dangerous to myself)
The first deal I made at this same flea market, I actually believed the dealer. I got 2 silver eagles that most likely not be worth combined what a I paid for just one of them. (I hosed myself) The rest of the days purchases should cover my blunder though.
It is exciting to see what kind of deals I can make, and what I can find.
I do intend on taking pictures of the Wheaties next. I have sorted them and found enough to fill 3/4 or so of the slots in my book marked 1909 to 1919. The pennies were the deal sweetener...you always have to have a sweetener.
