asciibaron Valued Member United States 206 Posts	Posted 09/09/2009 08:21 am i have no idea why, but I am addicted to the Prestige/Proof sets. maybe it's the little binder case, maybe it's the classy plastic enclosure that makes it look like a book. I'm not sure why, but I am drawn to these things. whenever I see them, I buy them anyone else share my addiction? Report this Post to the Staff

For example, when I got married, all my groomsmen got them, along with a small attached plaque stating the occasion. And naturally, when my daughters were born, each got one as a keepsake from me. I've also given them to friends when they visit, if they're from another country. Do I buy them for me? Only when they're priced reasonably. 1cent Pillar of the Community Canada 1051 Posts	Posted 09/10/2009 01:40 am I like them a lot, but try to steer clear of the NCLT (except for the odd variety or mule). If you can buy them "previously enjoyed", as the video store would say, they are a fantastic bargain. I also like the 70's era specimen sets, though I don't own any at the moment.
