While looking around on ebay I came across this note. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Things might not be as seems.

It is a more than likely a real dollar bill but based on the serial number, someone purchased a sheet of $1s and then cut it up by hand creating cutting "errors" in the process.

I agree. I believe that the souvenir uncut sheets use the 99+ serial number range.

I saw that it was from an uncut sheet cause thats the first thing you look for when someone has a miscut note for sale. I informed the seller about how the serial number meant it was from an uncut sheet and there was no way they would be able to sell it. Their reply was to say the error was not the serial number but the miscut. SO I told them yes the error was using scissors to cut the sheet up. Still haven't gotten a reply.

At first I was confused on their reply (I thought they were being hard headed). I think they somehow misunderstood your info in that they thought you were telling that the serial number was messed up or something.

That's what I figured they thought when I read their reply. So the next email I sent them I tried to make my self a little clearer and even sent them the link to a site where they could read the info for themselves. Still have yet to receive a second reply.

Considering the condition of the bill, it's priced too high.
