Hi there! As you can tell I'm new here.

Well, long ago, I wanted to get a metal detector. Mother said I would grow out of that "phase" and refused to get me one. Well now, 10 years later (and still wanting one of course!) she asked me what I would like for Christmas. DUHHHH!

I have a $250 limit though. Places I will be searching include land and beaches. Any ideas on a specific model would be fantastic! I want to get the best for my mother's money.

to CCF. Have you checked this section of the forum, it's the first one on the list. I can't give you a model but I do recommend a Whites.
