gawd0wns Valued Member Canada 464 Posts	Posted 01/28/2010 6:54 pm You must be talking about the 1936 Dot variety; according to my Charlton Standard Coin Guide (62nd Edition), only three are known to exist. My guide has it priced for 200+, 136,000 is a good buy. 1cent Pillar of the Community Canada 1051 Posts	Posted 02/08/2010 6:51 pm I think for items like the 1936 dot 1c and 10c, you're paying as much for the history/story and pedigree as you are for the coin itself. Like an Andy Warhol painting, the "value" is determined by these factors more than any real-world intrinsic value would suggest. AW's "200 dollar bills" painting recently sold in New York for over $43 million dollars. Everything is relative. Report this Post to the Staff
