Class III Design Hub Doubling, same as the 1942/1 Mercs and other 20th century "overdates". A die was impressed on a small date hub first, annealed(heated to soften the die steel), and then impressed a second time with a large date hub. "One die was impressed over another die" should be corrected to "one die impressed over two different hubs". Something tells me that Fred does not do his own
ebay listings because I have a hard time believing he would make such an egregious description error
