I'd like your opinion please.

Is there anything special about ebay item # 300452986827 - http://cgi.ebay.com/1953-NO-STRAP-C...EN_W0QQitemZ300452986827

Or is just a pretty but overpriced 1953 NSF dollar?

Thanks,

Steve in Edmonton

Nice but overpriced, you can't blame the seller for trying to maximize profit, but it is open to offers. If you know this coin trends at about $700,it's overpriced. But if you rely on something like Charlton's for pricing,it may seem to be reasonably priced.

That one is a roll of the dice with the cross-grade attribution game. Depending on how ICCS
crossed it, it could be genuinely be worth the price, or it could be worth a few multiples of melt value.

1 Cent, you think it would have a chance at specimen at ICCS? MS65s don't go for nearly $1K, they have been auctioning in the $300-$400 range and ICCS (and PCGS) no longer will grade a 1953 NSF dollar PL.
