nancyc, according to your post, these are the coins you should have. I've made up a multi-page Canadian coin checklist and here's the large cent and small cent part of the listing. I've checked off the coins you mentioned you already have and left blank the years where there are varieties (1847, 1953, 1962, 1965, 1983, 1985, 2003) as I don't know which variety you have. For later years, there are magnetic and non-magnetic versions also but don't have them listed. If anyone is interested, I can post a blank version of this and also my entire 8 page Canadian coin checklist I made.

I love my Canadian small cents. I collect all strikes (business, proof-like, specimen, proof and errors). I also have the Zoell books for varieties. I do love to search BU rolls for gem Zoell varieties and I love searching 'hoards' of older cents. I just bought 8 boxes (50 rolls per box) of George V and VI 1c coins from a person whose grandmother was a hoarder. Fun times lie ahead!

Thanks Ken. I haven't gotten into all the varieties yet, do have a few, but not too concerned if it stays that way. I have some Canadian error coins that I'm quite fond of.

nybird, your pages look great! I have my small cents in a Uni-Safe folder which uses similar plastic pockets, but mine have a tendency to spin around inside the pocket. How do you get yours to stay still inside the pocket? Here's a scan of my first page, starting with 1920.

Does your album have the slide in sleeves? Mine has the slide in sleeves, each sleeve holds 6 coins, with a small gutter under the coins where I placed lables printed front and back so I could know what I was looking at without flipping back and forth.
I never carry it anywhere which may also help. Other than that I have no idea but it is quite satisfying looking at least to me.

nybird that's an impressive collection and I really like your presentation, great coin pages. Mine are more like Matchboxs, labeling is difficult.

I experimented with getting things to line up front and back, waste of time.... I finally used Word and made a table 6 cols. wide 2 rows high, and flipped the text on one row so that when I folded it over text ended upright. After that it was simple. Just ype and print, cut and fold.
Now I have to organize 400+ large cents with varieties noted. I have a really cool idea for that, when I do a proto-type page I will post results, I've never seen anything like what I have in mind, so I'm not sure it will work. I love varieties and want to give them some clarity.

Those 1936 and older one cents are pretty cool! Maybe I'll eventually find one in my U.S. roll searching. Oldest I have found is 1942 I think.

Here are a couple quick scans of my Canada Cents: I still have a few to put in the first page. Still in 2x2's until I decided on my final storage option. Having seen nybirds system, that's what I now want, but I'll have to import it from Nth America, as they're not available in Australia. Anyone know where I can get an identical album from and the approx cost involved?

Holy Moly! $31.42 for 2 Abums + 2 spare pages (reasonable prices) plus $121.45 for shipping to Australia!! That's Crazy! They must use Gold Plated packaging! At that price I'll have to stick with my current storage, or come up with some other idea.

Weight is 2.45lbs, so using USPS Postal Calculator online, by First-Class Mail® International Package** postage should be no more than $21.08 to Oz.
There have been many times when I've gone to order items from Nth America, but the freight usually stops me in my tracks.
I've just recently imported a heap of 1½x1½'s from a US supplier, I'll check if I can get the albums from the same place.
Thanks for you help.
