What's your "always a sucker to get" coin?

Mine is 1936 Canadian Dollar. I always seem to find $$ to buy those!

Ultra heavy cameo PL's. I also grab every pre-82 nickel I see in change, and
roll hunt for more. The last one is large beads PL 1965 cents, not bought, but found.

I like the Canadian 2 dollar coin design. Thats why I am working on a set of them. I am down to needing 2 of them to have them all from 1996 to present. A 2000 single bear reverse, and a 2003 W coins.

I always liked heraldic designs. Canadian 50 c. sports a cool one. Put a young girl on the obverse and nothing can beat it!
So, sounds like I just described 50 c. between 1953 and 1964.

The 1949 Canada dollar is a beauty, I love ships on coins! Also a 'pillar' piece of eight, 8 reale coin, still yet to aquire one. The ultimate pirate money!

Aside from NCTLs, definitely the 1949 dollar is one of them.

Nice '49
one of my favorites
I read somewhere that Thomas Shingles engraved the design in the matrix as the mint did not yet have a reducing machine.
But my most favorite is the '35 dollar.
First use of the voyageur icon, nicest portrait of Geo.VI,and no reference to God.
Deep pockets not required, affordable for any collector.
Always looking for a nicer one,and can't bring myself to sell any.
Borrowed this photo from eBay

I like older canadian coin designs. George V pennies and the like. The reverses are simple but nice.

I dig Canadian coins in general. But my favorite has to be the '67 dollar coin.
