Is there a web site or somewhere in the CCF forum that gives the number of San Francisco mint proof sets made by the mint for any given year. I've been buying quite a few lately and am wondering why there are big price differences.

Later years are priced higher because you're getting more coins, but the differences between years can be quite different.

One of the better features of the Red Book by Whitman Publishing.
On pages 335 and up thes list the Proof and Uncirculated sets issued by the Mint. Also, the amount minted, issue price, current estimated value. On page 334 it is explained what a proof is and how they are made.
