I am sorry for my english. I found a qurater dollar...and for me it looks like it is deep cameo. I would like to know how I can be sure it is or not? and the other question is, how much is it worth?
On wikipedia I read the following
"For the first three years of clad production, in lieu of proof sets, specimen sets were specially sold as "Special Mint Sets" minted at the San Francisco mint in 1965, 1966, and 1967 (Deep Cameo versions of these spectacular coins are highly valued because of their rarity)."
I would be sooooo grateful to all of you for any answer. Because money is what I need right now :) I have to pay for my studies and there are also other bills waiting for me. it would be cool if this coin has high value:)
the "deep cameo" proofs have a frosted finish and mirrored background, but the older proofs have a tendency to have the mirrored look over the whole coin... I hope I answered your question, happy hunting
