Wish ebay would take the listing off already.

Just thought I would share.

Didn't realize silver was a "haven" against terrorism....maybe terrorists are related to werewolfs? But afraid of silver coins instead of bullets? Might have to get me some of that there elixir to all the worlds problems!

Too bad that die gouge didn't have more "details"... In the same league as the image on the toast or the "magical" blot on the side of a barn... Heck, for a whole lot less than $80,000 I could probably come up with some object that gullible people could venerate... It's like that misguided individual that spent his life savings advertising that May 21st was the last day of the world. People will believe anything nowadays.

I like how ANACS, NGC, and PCGS are all wrong. Maybe he should try SGS next?

INSPECTED BY ANACS, NGC AND PCGS . ALL WERE RELUCTANT TO CERTIFY THIS COIN AND GUARANTEE THIS COIN AS A NEW MINT ERROR WITH THEIR NAME ON IT.

Oh well then, I'll take it!

dumprat, SGS WILL certify this coin most likely MS70, and designated on the holder "Christ on the cross" variety.

Like I've said many times before, this is what you get with no listing fees.

at least now he can list it for free so it will probably be on there for a very long time now. But the fees never stopped this guy, he has listed this thing at least 4 times over the past year or so. All it is going to take is one buyer though but I really doubt anyone would ever throw that kind of money on a coin without trying to find out what it actually is they are buying. The bad thing about it is if he would list it for a hundred or two he may just sell it from an unknowing buyer but not for the 80k he is asking

Ever since ebay started this no listing fee policy it is a huge waste of time looking through the listings. People list overpriced, overgraded coins all day long. They just throw a bunch of , we'll say junk, against the wall and see what sticks. I think that if people had to pay even 25 cents to list an item it would reduce the amount of items people put out there just to see if they can find a sucker.

after all when no one has shown any interest in this crappy "CARVED COIN" he has only raised the price from 69K to 80K
negative emails must assure him of its greater value...YUK YUK YUK....but you are all correct.. there are tons of over priced coins on the bay right now...one really has to look closely...

My guess is that the seller's odds of selling this curiosity (euphemism intended) are perhaps better than winning the lottery ...

Is that coin even real? Looks a bit strange to me, but it might just be the lighting.
