Just picked up some nice silver ('66 and '67 50 cent pieces)! Had to tell someone!

Happy Hunting!

That's the plan Yankee1227. I've got most of the non silver 50 cent pieces already ('68 through 2002) and 3 of silver ones so far ('18,'66,'67). Would like a complete set (as much as possible without breaking the bank) to pass down to the next generation.

SHAFTA9a, there is just something about the 50 cent piece that I find collectible. Maybe the fact that it's not regularly seen in circulation any more. :-)

Keep searching for the 1921!

Congratulations! The 50 cent is a beautiful coin and great to collect. I have them all from 1968-2011 and a couple silver pre '68.

Different designs. 67 is centennial critter design, wolf howling at the moon, IIRC. always liked that coin.

Thanks. A work in progress and will take years to complete. :-)
It's amazing sometimes what you can find at the local flea markets.
