Not sure what to make of this coin. Its an indent number 8 on both sides of the coin. Not sure if it was man made or a post mint error.

Looks like someone counter stamped it with the number 8.

It is a man-made counterstamp but there is no such thing as a "post-mint error". Everything that happens to a coin once it leaves the press is simply damage.
