Hello Error experts. Found this random 1966 while searching my coins. Looks like a legitimate error and not one I have seen before. The 9 has a hook at the bottom instead of the smooth flow.

Not quite sure from the picture. It looks like the 9 & 1 may have taken a hit which caused a portion of the 9 & 1 to be pushed out of place a bit. Is it possible to get a closer picture of the date?
Rest in Peace

Hi JeyRey2000...I agree with cladhunter13.

I exploded your coin to see the edge of both the "1" and the "9"...They seem to be in line with each other as though some thing pushed the bottom of the "1" and "9" at the same time.

The program is called GWYDDION

About 2/3 down the page....Have fun

P.S. - I have many software programs (all free) that I use and here is what GWYDDION can do with a rotated coin.
