biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 10/16/2012 12:04 pm It cannot be 1958D-1DO-001 because the mintmark is in a different location, two different dies are involved here. The 9 is affected by Machine Doubling as well as the 5, 8, and mintmark. The supposed 1958/7-D has been discredited- it is not an overdate/doubled die, just some scratches and gouges on the master die. Report this Post to the Staff
