I happened to notice in my change a 1979 quarter w/ a big "S" stamped on the left side (in front of Washington's head), and a big "2" stamped on the right side (b/h his head). When I say 'stamped' I mean 'impressed' into the quarter. Does anybody know anything about this. . .or is it just rubbish? TIA! ~Jon

^^Agree with Conder. Nothing special but a damaged coin from someone playing around with it. But otherwise, nice find!

to the CCF.

As stated above ... an incuse stamp is the sign of someone playing with their punch set and hammer.
