I am completely new to coins outside of the US and know next to nothing. But I was picking out some nice designed coins from my local coin shop. I have a Denmark 1909 2 Ore coin.
I did a little research on ebay and saw this guy going anywhere from $8-$20.
Some of the listings say "Crowned F8F Monogram" or 1909 H

What does the "Crowned F8F Monogram" mean and the H mean? and how would I tell if the coin I have meets these criteria?

Looks like there was only the H variety in 1909.

Here is more info:
KM# 805 2 ORE
4.0000 g., Bronze Ruler: Frederik VIII Obv: Crowned F8F
monogram, initials GJ at lower right Rev: Denomination within
circle, date and initials VBP below

Hope that helps.

The initials GJ (designer) and VBP (mintmaster) are explained in Danish here: http://www.danskmoent.dk/fr/f8h7.htm No idea what the "H" refers to, unless it is short for "heart". The heart is the mintmark of the Copenhagen mint.

What do you think this coin grades at?
Fine or very fine?

That is indeed a very nice coin you have there. What does it grade? Well as the first image is a littel blurry it is hard to tell, but I would venture a guess and say Very Fine as a minimum.
If you are interested in finding out what that coin may be worth, you could look here *** Edited by Staff - Please Review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. *** - That's the site I usually use and one I came across about 2 months ago.
