1972-D Cent REV Doubling Type? - Coin Community Forum

This coin is a little rough, but shows doubling on the reverse and possibly the date. I sell on ebay and would like to know what type of doubling this is before I list it. You have two different things here. On the reverse you have classic Machine Doubling (MD). This is actually damage caused by a loose die and is common. On the date you have the effect of an aging die which is distorting the digits in the date. Your coin is worth face value.It is copper and has a little bullion value but not much.
