Coin1776 New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 09/18/2014 11:10 pm Attached are images of another set of jetons-2 in total. I looked for examples on line but was unsuccessful. Any ideas of country of origin and possible year it was minted? What does the legend say? Report this Post to the Staff

Sap Moderator Australia 16899 Posts	Posted 09/19/2014 12:27 am WIth the fleur-de-lys and cross-of-Ls designs, they are French in style - though probably made in Nuremberg and intended for import to France, rather than made in France. The only one I can read is the lower one, which seems to have some variant of the "AVE MARIA" legend commonly found on these pieces. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
