Hi, I'm new to CRH and in my first box of pennies I found this. I was wondering what exactly it was, and if it was common or not thanks for the help.

That is a plating issue. You will see many like this if you continue coin roll searching.

It has no value unfortunately.

No problem,keep hunting and just practice your picture taking along the way and welcome! Oh and if you don't already know-be sure check all your '98 99's and 2000's for the Wide AM variety...
