Some of those '52-D RPMs are downright weird. Because the punch was damaged sometime during that year, the "doubled mintmarks" often look quadrupled. Makes for a wild look.
Yep, coppercoins lists this one as D/D/D/D, there are clearly there serifs on the lower end, not sure where four comes in unless they count the extra serif on top. I just counted that one as part of one of the three punches on the lower serif.
