I have these three roman or ancient coins here but I have no idea where, or when their from. Hopefully someone out there can help me identify these coins! First coin has what looks like C + T on it. With a star over the + sign.   The second coin is a small one but in better shape than the first one.   The third one is a big and heavy one.   Thank you all for your help! |

to the community. Have no idea what coin one can be, maybe with a better picture . I agree that coin two is Arcadius. Coin three Is a Roman Provincial I think it might be Macrinius but I would need a bigger picture of the obverse to be sure. |

Coin #3 is a Roman Provincial coin from the city of Nicopolis-ad-Istrum, in what is now Bulgaria. I can't ID the emperor either.

Thank you for your help! With the help I got I did a little bit more reseach and coin nr 2 was a Arcadius, east roman coin! So thanks a lot for that. I feel like I've seen pictures of that somewhere on the internet before so Ill keep looking! :-D As of coin nr 3, Ill upload another picture of the obverse so hopefully you can have a better look and maybe see which emperor that is! It is difficult when the legends are not clear, this is as close as I think I will be able to get (again from Wildwinds):  Gordian III, AE28, Nikopolis ad Istrum AVT K M ANTW GORDIANOC AVG (AVG ligate), laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. VP CAB MODECTOV NIKOPOLEITWN, PROC-ICTRO-N in right field, Asklepios standing facing, head left, holding serpent- entwined staff. ebay sale, Malter Galleries, 2003. The first coin reminded me of the Indian coins for a moment lol. Nice pick ups love the second one from Antioch.

Coin 3 has similar types for Diadumenian & Macrinus.
Resting hand on serpent entwined club, I couldn't find an example with the field marks like your coin though.
Pretty sure its of that period.
I think " Bacchus " knows this period well, maybe someone could give him a nudge.
Although Bobbyhelmets suggestion is a lot closer than mine.
