Quote: My mint pack was ordered Oct. 16. On Oct. 22 it was shipped and my credit card was charged. It has not arrived. I phoned last week and was told nothing could be done until after 30 days had passed. Something tells me nothing will be done then either. Try to contact them. I got "Shipping notification" 2 weeks ago, was yesterday ready to call the mint for clarification, but exactly yesterday it arrived. Ofcause no Tracking Number in their "shipping notification".

my recent experiences with RCM shipping has been quite good. I've been getting most 'notifications of shipping'...followed within 2-3 days of actual delivery. It should be noted that my notifications usually come on Friday or Saturday.

After reading how few coloured versions were being found in rolls I decided to open two rolls, the first roll had 7 coloured poppies, the second had two. 80 quarters, 11% where are all the coloured ones?

just open my last roll of quarters (managed to get 7 a few weeks ago). This roll had 3 coloured poppies in it. 11% seems to be my average as well.

I have opened over 10 rolls, had as low as 3 but as high as 11, will be getting more rolls and opening them all to see. I plan on keeping just the coloured ones and using up the rest as keeping like $600 worth of quarters doesn't make sense to me. I used to be worried about keeping the roll intact, but then I went to colonial acres, they had non coloured rolls, what they did was take out the coloured ones and put plain ones back into the roll without ripping the plastic, so doing so will make it much easier for me to take like $400-$500 worth of quarters to the bank instead of loose change.

Just open a TD account no charge to deposit coins in their own machines at almost all TD branches also see a few at CIBC branches. I see people with buckets of change pouring them in at TD

Yesterday picked up the checks from TD branch, and again made a third attemp to ask about "poppy quarters". Well, again the teller didn't hear about them nothing and of cause he doesn't know what comes in the boxes. But he was nice to me and brought from somewhere coloured 1812 quarter. Just seen on the other site some guy shows the unboxing of the RCM coloured poppy coins. Might be he got them from CA or Gatewest....

6.25 million 2015 coloured poppy 25c.....where are they? "This natural-looking illustration is presented in two versions: a coloured poppy which appears on 6.25 million coins and an uncoloured version of the poppy, which graces 6.25 million non-coloured poppy http://www.mint.ca/store/news/royal....VmMOc3pfOrUWe know there was "production issues", reason why the sealed sets took so long to arrive. If those issues pertained to the coloured poppy and blotchy colouring, perhaps that explains why there was only a sprinkling of colour within the earlier mint rolls? But if it's true the mintage was split evenly between colour and non-colour, at some point there should be pure rolls of colour that offset the unbalanced early distribution, no?

I found quite few non-coloured poppies in circulation, but zip for the coloured coin.

Notice that 3rd party mints are now coloring the plain poppy quarters. How will this affect the integrity / value of the original RCM produced colored poppy quarters? Is anyone else worried that the coloration processes of other mints might devalue original RCM issues? Example Here: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2015-Canadia...262285385992

I doubt this will have any effect on these quarters. I would like to know mintages of the color and how many sets were sold.
I was just thinking, the number may be low because the mint sold 3 different products with the color poppy and then the coin exchanges. They sold the $5 set, The poppy card, the Special Edition sets, will we ever know how many of each were sold. Then who knows how many were given out at coin exchanges.
No wonder the color version is scarce in the wild.

I'm worried about where coin collecting is going, with all of the knock-offs and attempted customizations. One of the thrills used to be the "hunt"... now I'm becoming paranoid when purchasing coins from anyone but a "certified" mint or reputable dealer.
