Just to add, due to the US Mint selling partially defaced dies, one could start a cottage industries with these nail type strikes.

The US Mint only sold fully defaced dies(primarily from the State Quarter series) with one exception, silver dollar dies from the 1996 Olympics were sold with a large X cancellation. Those dies are currently worth $500-1000.
