hi -

I found this coin(?) in my Grandmother's collection and I have been trying to identify for some time now. Not even sure if it IS a coin. Any help would be really appreciated.

Might be Ilkhanid, maybe Abu Sa'id.

For comparison here's the OP coin with a couple other issues of Abu Sa'id (Ilkhans):

Unknown-Coin?-With-Un-Identifiable-Markings
Ilkhanid Abu Sa'id AE Fals 2.73g, 16.4mm Shar (Mardin) mint, ND

And a couple of silver issues with very similar, perhaps identical imagery to the OP:
