I'm sure everyone who wanted a 2012 penny or roll (whether it be specially wrapped or not) got one, so this box of 50 for $8000 is just redundant and overpriced. Now go try to trade a rock from the garden for your wife's engagement ring. GL. Marketing or not, the fact is the special wrapped rolls sell for significantly more than 50 cents and much more than regular rolls. I'm more curious about how this seller got a full box in sequence. I'd have to assume a dealer was involved since there was a household limit of one per from the Mint and even dealers were limiting sales to 5 or less. Could it be a RCM employee is involved?
