I posted this one several months ago on the Grading forum. There was some disagreement about whether or not it would receive a straight grade, due to some areas of corrosion, most notably around Liberty's ear. The consensus was that the level of wear would place it around a Good 4 or 6, Details grade or not.

Well, I included this in a recent submission to NGC and the results have been posted. Thoughts?

No issues with a net grade on that one
Rest in Peace

Seems reasonable. NGC has been tough on early copper since they introduced the new holders.

I still like that coin, especially without details.

Very nice. I don't think G-4 or even G-6 would be unrealistic tbh.

I'm surprised. My guess was G6.

I think they undergraded it. S-196 I believe.

I would have said G-04 without much hesitation.
