Welcome! Observation is the key to discovery. We noticed out grand daughter holding a penny close to her eyes. She was examining it like she sees me. Look at both sides. Pay attention to the minute details. Also if you know exactly what the perfect specimen should be, any deviation from it will jump out at you. I once found a DDO in my change from a coin shop. Good luck.
