Does anyone here collect the silver presidential medals that started about 2 years ago? Is the general consensus that these things will only be worth melt down the road?

I have the ones included in the 2013~2105 Coin and Chronicles sets. I really like them and have thought about doing the series, but have not made room for them in my budget. If you are right, then I may be wise to wait and pick them up later.
