I found this dime today and immediately I could see doubling in Liberty and I think on the reverse. Also had for chips in his hair and in the back there is a small one at the top of the torch. It's the lettering at the top of the obverse that fascinates me. Then"as" is prominent, and there's some more too. I just can't figure it out. I wanna say it was gonna spell United States of America lol. Can someone help explain this please? I'm real new to coins and ever newer to the ccf.
