My first post on this forum, although I have been on your sister stamp forum for at least ten years. I am an old man, retired professor, and live way up north, on Lake Superior. And I don't want to be a coin collector! Collecting stamps is bad enough. However, I have come across some coins and feel myself drawn in, against my will. Explanation on next post..

Well, if you really don't want to be a coin connoisseur, you can just send me the coins. I will try and give them a good home.

ddreisba: to the coin forum.
Encased postage stamps and Postal Numismatic Covers can make a very good half way house.
Most of us would have a lot to learn in these areas, and would well appreciate your presence.
Besides there is a possibility that you may get at least a small bite from the numismatic bug.

As others have said, welcome .... to the shiny side, rather than the sticky side of our sister hobbies!
