Quote: Well I sent my coins in to PCGS to be graded. Shipped them out on Jan.26. Got them back today. That's 24 days. I was expecting 2 months. Excellent! Quote: I sent in one set and all were 70's except the "D". It was a 69. Those D's are tough graders. Oh well, I'm still pretty happy with them. Quote: When is the big reveal?

They really look no different than others posted. You seen one you've seen them all.

I got the PCGS standard label. There running a quarterly special pay for 4 coins get 1 free. I also got the gold shield.

Well an update to my first order to PCGS to have my Morgans and Peace dollars graded. On page 142 (here is the link I hope) http://goccf.com/t/383212&whichpage=142#3543377I mentioned that they did not return my OGP boxes or the COA's well, they just came in today.. 1 YEAR later.. Who says that PCGS doesn't complete an order?

Quote:How can you be sure those are your boxes though? Well, seeing that I sent them to PCGS site unseen (unopened mint box) they still had my return address label in it

At this stage if you're buying '21 Morgans and Peace dollars in OGP is there any justifiable concern that you might be buying the equivalent of "searched rolls" where someone has either carefully examined the coin enough to form an opinion that it wouldn't grade at a 70 or even possibly that they sent in the coins to get graded, cracked out the ones of the slabs that were 69s and below and put them back in the OGP?

a valid concern, t25135, but not everyone sends them in.

Yeah for sure and from looking at the population reports on PCGS and ngc that's definitely the case. I guess at some point perhaps we start seeing premiums for unopened boxes from the mint with these coins in them (relative to just ones in the OGP) if that doesn't already exist.

@t25135 I have that same concern. I want to pick up a 2021 OGP Peace dollar at some point, and the thought you have has crossed my mind
